questions.
Does AI advise me at HYPER?+
HYPER AI supports preparation of your matter: after lawyer clearance of conflicts, it helps gather and organise information and creates internal drafts. You are still advised by a person. Every assessment, offer and invoice is reviewed, corrected and approved by a qualified lawyer before you receive it.
What does the initial assessment cost?+
Before a paid engagement, you receive a lawyer-reviewed offer stating the scope and fee. Only where no fee agreement exists, section 34(1), sentence 3 RVG sets consumer limits: €190 net (€226.10 including 19% VAT) for an initial consultation and €250 net (€297.50 including 19% VAT) for other advice or a written opinion, in each case plus any statutory disbursements. A written assessment following an AI dialogue is not automatically an initial consultation. Fees are credited towards related further work under section 34(2) RVG unless agreed otherwise.
How soon will I hear back?+
On business days, we respond within 48 hours with an initial indication of the next steps and a clear explanation of scope and costs.
Why might HYPER cost less than traditional advice?+
Digital preparation may reduce the work involved. Statutory fees or a permitted fee agreement remain applicable; statutory minimum fees must be respected unless the RVG provides otherwise, under section 49b(1) BRAO. A lower fee is not promised for every matter.
Do I have to consent to AI processing?+
No. The contact form does not use AI or ask for AI consent. Before any later AI use, you receive separate, specific information and make a voluntary choice. An equivalent route without AI remains available. You may withdraw any consent at any time for the future.
Will my legal expenses insurance cover the costs?+
In many cases it may. We can request confirmation of cover and clarify in advance what is included. We also check possible eligibility for German advice or litigation aid.
Is online legal advice equally binding?+
Yes. A matter can be handled entirely online. German lawyers’ professional duties remain unchanged, particularly confidentiality under section 43a(2) BRAO and section 203 of the German Criminal Code.
How are my documents protected?+
You upload documents to your personal client folder on servers in Germany. It is protected by an access code and is accessible only to you and the responsible professionals. Please do not send confidential documents by unencrypted email.
