Fees set out in your offer
Your fee depends on the type and scope of advice. Before any paid engagement, you receive an offer for the services you need. Every legal assessment is reviewed by a lawyer.
+ Non-binding enquiry; advice only after acceptance of the engagement.

Fixed fee agreed in advance
Contract review, dismissal, general terms or a shareholders’ agreement: we agree a fixed fee in text form under section 3a RVG before starting work. Any additional services are agreed separately in advance.
+ Tailored to your needs, with a lasting working relationship in mind.

RVG based on the value in dispute
Where fees are calculated under the German Lawyers’ Remuneration Act (RVG), they depend on the value in dispute, the work and the stage of proceedings. Your offer explains the calculation and anticipated costs.
+ Recovery from the opposing party or legal expenses insurance may be possible.
A transparent calculation
Why digital advice may cost less — and where it cannot.
Statutory minimum fees and permitted fee agreements remain applicable under section 49b BRAO. Digital preparation may reduce the work involved:
Routine preparation supported by technology. AI can assist with reviewing and organising material. Your lawyer retains oversight and responsibility for deadlines.
A digital file instead of travelling. No office visits, paper, postage or waiting time.
Provide information in a structured way. Fewer follow-up questions, shorter processing times and less overall work.
Legal expenses insurance?
We can request confirmation of cover and clarify what is included in advance. We also check possible eligibility for German advice or litigation aid.
Statutory default limits without a fee agreement under section 34(1), sentence 3 RVG: for consumers, the fee for an initial consultation is capped at €190 net (€226.10 including 19% VAT), and for other advice or a written legal opinion at €250 net (€297.50 including 19% VAT). Statutory disbursements may be added. These limits are not HYPER fixed prices and do not apply where a fee agreement exists. Fees are credited towards related further work under section 34(2) RVG unless agreed otherwise. An engagement requires the provider’s express acceptance.
